Advertising Disclosure

WeatherMonth is free to read. Some destination pages carry a paid placement to cover what it costs to run. This page sets out what those are, how to spot one, and what they do not touch.

How to spot one

Every paid placement carries a visible Sponsored label, sits in its own bordered box away from the article text, and its link is marked rel="sponsored" in the HTML. If a block is not labelled, nobody paid for it.

An advertisement, not a recommendation

We do not test, rank, score or compare eSIM providers. WeatherMonth is a climate reference; it has no basis for telling you which provider is better, and it does not pretend otherwise. You will not find a rating, a price comparison, a star score or an "our pick" badge attached to a placement on this site. If you ever do, it is a mistake and we want to hear about it.

That is a deliberate limit. Publishing a comparison would mean publishing prices we have no way to keep accurate, which is worse than publishing none.

The climate data is untouched

Temperature, rainfall and sunshine figures come from ERA5 reanalysis via Open-Meteo, NOAA NCEI and the UK Met Office, as described on our about page. Those numbers are computed the same way whether or not a page carries a placement. No advertiser sees them first, and none of them influences which cities or months we cover.

Other commercial links

WeatherMonth also participates in affiliate programs with travel services such as Booking.com, Skyscanner and GetYourGuide. Those arrangements are covered in our terms of service. Questions about any of this go to our contact page.
