We believe that the best journeys start with clarity. By curating decades of meteorological data, we transform complex climate patterns into actionable travel intelligence.
Our climate averages are calculated from over 30 years of high-resolution historical data, ensuring seasonal trends are captured with precision.

Built with modern web technologies for speed and accuracy. Our engine processes millions of data points in milliseconds to provide a seamless browsing experience for the modern traveler.
Reliability is our cornerstone. We aggregate meteorological data from the world's most prestigious institutions to ensure your travel plans are built on bedrock.
Each city is mapped to its exact latitude and longitude via GeoNames. We query climate data at the city center coordinate, which represents conditions within a 10-20km radius for most metrics.
We pull daily data for the 1991-2020 reference period (the WMO standard) from Open-Meteo's ERA5 reanalysis dataset. Each metric is averaged across all 30 years for a given month, producing stable climate normals that smooth out year-to-year anomalies.
Average high and low temperatures are computed from daily maximum and minimum readings. Precipitation is total monthly millimetres. Rain days count days with 1mm or more. Sunshine hours use direct solar radiation thresholds.
Computed averages are spot-checked against NOAA GHCN station data and Met Office published profiles. Cities where ERA5 reanalysis diverges by more than 2 degrees C from station records are flagged for manual review.
Climate normals are recomputed quarterly to incorporate any corrections in the underlying ERA5 dataset. The reference period (1991-2020) remains fixed until the WMO issues the next standard period.
